“The Lego 164 Passenger Coach Is the first Lego train to allow the entry of a Lego minifigure. What I mean by this is, the passenger wagons finally have a purpose that purpose is to transport your minifigure from point A to point B. The Set included 148 pieces, and of those... More pieces it includes two minifigures, a female and male figure, and the passenger train. The train also had three different styles of passenger trains, but they work the same way.”

About Trains 4.5V / 12V

The 4512V minifigures are the railway staff and passengers of the 4.5 volt and 12 volt trains. The early sets came before the minifigure, with the LEGOLAND figures of the mid 1970s that have no arms or printed face, and from 1978 the minifigures took over. Most wear plain coloured torsos or suits with three buttons, with caps and hats for the station staff, and some are Shell workers in sets that include a petrol station or a fuel wagon. Construction workers in helmets and vests appear with the maintenance trains. They have the classic smiling face and no names.
