The Minifigures Series 2 (8684) is the second series of collectable minifigures that was released in September 2010 and contains sixteen collectable minifigures. Series 2 was packaged in blind, blue polybags but again featured a barcode system that inadvertently helped collectors to identify the contents before buying.

The minifigures in this series included Life Guard, Karate Master, Explorer, Disco Dude, Witch, Weight Lifter, Vampire, Traffic Cop, Surfer, Spartan Warrior, Skier, Ringmaster, Pop Star, Pharaoh, Mime and Maraca Man.
