About LEGO Homemaker Rooms
The LEGO Homemaker Furniture sets, primarily released in the 1970s, focus on buildable furniture and accessories for dollhouse-style play. Notable sets include 261 Bathroom, which features a bathtub, sink, and other bathroom accessories; 263 Living Room, with a couch, table, and television; 264 Kitchen, equipped with a stove, sink, and kitchen cabinets; and 265 Baby's Room, which includes a crib, rocking chair, and baby accessories. These sets allowed for detailed customization and imaginative play in creating household environments.
LEGO Homemaker was a theme introduced in 1971 designed to appeal primarily to girls and centered on domestic and suburban life-based settings. The larger of the Homemaker sets could be assembled to build complete room settings of a house, including a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms while smaller sets could build models of other household fixtures. The sets are known for using Homemaker figures built using standard LEGO bricks.
