1997 leaned into the supernatural. Fright Knights added Basil the Bat Lord and Willa the Witch—early vampire and witch archetypes—with bat motifs and capes. Space pivoted to UFO with alien heads and cybernetic designs. Aquaraiders entered Aquazone with distinctive deep-sea explorers and hook-handed equipment prints.
