The Haunted House set, part of the Monster Fighters series is a tremendous value at retail offer of $180 which was released at the begining of September 1012. It contains the minifigures Lord Vampyre, Zombie Chef, Vampyre's Bride, two Ghosts, and the Zombie Butler. The Zombie chef and Zombie Butler are exclusive to the set. At just $.09 per piece is exceptional on a Hard to Find set and especially one of this caliber. At 2000 pieces there aren't too many sets that meet this standard and are still this impressive.

“Ok, this house is great. It's got all the size and detail of the modular buildings, but in a stand-alone home. It'd be trivial to clean it up and have a nice sand green house, or you can have a run-down dump. It's a lengthy build that can easily occupy several evenings, but... More nothing's particularly difficult. There's only a few tedious bits during the build. The hinged design makes it much more playable than the modulars as well.”

I would have preferred the floors being able to be removed seperately, like the modulars, however the opening... More up feature allows the house to be used more as a playset.”

About Monster Fighters

The Monster Fighters theme was introduced in 2012 who's story line is similar to the 1987 movie The Monster Squad, which features the same monsters. In the backstory, the monsters attempt to collect them to unleash doom on the Earth by eclipsing the Sun forever. A band of Monster Fighters, led by Dr. Rodney Rathbone, tries to find the stones before the evil Lord Vampyre uses them to eclipse the sun forever. The Monster Fighters were discontinued in 2012, the same year it was introduced.
