This represents the current new/sealed value of the set LEGO Basic Figures since January 1985. Medium accuracy
LEGO 1089 LEGO Basic Figures is a Dacta set released in 1985, containing 24 pieces and 24 basic figures. It includes 12 red girl figures and 12 blue boy figures, designed as simple finger-puppet elements for classroom activities. Part of the LEGO Dacta (later LEGO Education) range, it served as a resource for group learning and role-play.

About Dacta

Dacta was an original LEGO theme from 1960 to 2003 that deals with all things that can be used with educational facilities, such as DUPLO and TECHNIC. Dacta was later replaced by the LEGO Education theme. Sets in the Dacta product line were exclusively developed for usage in younger aged schools so the sets typically contain a large amount of pieces for playing and learning in groups. The sets were designed to contain a higher number of bricks and elements at a lower cost.
