“The set itself builds into a small ecosystem of fungi and flowers you’d find on a forest floor. I built the LEGO Willy Wonka set last year, and this set actually seems to take a similar approach to repurposing existing LEGO pieces to form petals, leaves, and, in this case,... More mushroom tops. Red toadstools sprout from the center, surrounded by a mix of fibrecap, earthstar, chanterelle, bonnet and oyster mushrooms. Thank you, Stardew Valley, for being the main reason I know what any of those are.”

“This is a truly beautiful-looking build, encompassing a handful of different varieties of mushroom in a compact woodland diorama that looks incredibly lush and diverse. We’ve got some classic red fly agaric (toadstools), some fibrecap, earthstar, chanterelle, bonnet and... More oyster mushrooms, and then some purple autumn crocuses and bracken fronds to complete the surroundings.”

About Botanicals Botanical Collection

The Botanical Collection is the original subtheme that launched the LEGO Botanicals range in 2021 under the Icons umbrella. Aimed at adult builders, it recreates flowers and plants entirely from LEGO elements for display as home decor. Flagship sets include the Flower Bouquet (10280), Bonsai Tree (10281), Bird of Paradise (10289), Orchid (10311), Succulents (10309), Wildflower Bouquet (10313), Dried Flower Centerpiece (10314), Tiny Plants (10329), and the Rose Bouquet (10328). The collection helped establish botanical building as a mainstream LEGO category and remains a steady anchor of the Botanicals theme.

Botanical Collection was introduced in 2025 and currently consists of 19 sets.
