LEGO 1277 Drill Craft is a Rock Raiders promotional set released in 1999, containing 27 pieces and 1 minifigure. It builds a small hovercraft fitted with four ice-saw drills and includes the Rock Raiders crewman Sparks. The set was distributed in Japan as a Kabaya sweets promotion, with the Kabaya version packaged in a box and a separate non-promotional release issued in a polybag. It was also included in the Kabaya Rock Raiders 4-Pack.

About Rock Raiders Promotional

LEGO Rock Raiders was a theme that was released in 1999 and was based on space miners trapped on an alien planet. The theme was made up of eight main sets and four promotional sets as well as three minifigures sets. The Rock Raiders theme was discontinued in 2000. The theme had several elements that were reprized in the Power Miners theme ten years later.

Promotional was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 4 sets.
