Brickset
“This set is loads of fun, and is a pretty good representation of how a real action movie set works, with Johnny Thunder as a great action hero mascot. the tumbling tiles are very fun, but would be better if constructed higher above the ground. That way Johnny will have some... More way to fall. The camera rig is okay, though not as impressive as the camera setup in the "cameraman" set.”

Lego Maniacs' Guide
“It consists of a "corridor" which seems not out of place in a Steven Spielberg movie. The whole point of the set is this: Johnny gets the ruby from the arch and runs across the floor to escape. The mini-figs: Johnny Thunder and a camera-man. It's the same old Johnny... with... More a ruby and a six-shooter.”
