LEGO 1694 Galactic Scout was a 23 piece Space set with 1 minifig released in 1992. It includes a small scout ship and a Blacktron Future Generation Astronaut minifigure and unlike set 1462 Galactic Scout which is the same, this version comes in a box.
Galactic Scout is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 1694-1 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 2,824 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $54.42 might actually be much lower than the true value, assuming this set can be found for sale.

About Space Blacktron 2

Blacktron 2, also known as Blacktron Future Generation was a followup Space subtheme to Blacktron and was released in 1991. Most of the sets were simply improved remake of the original Blacktron sets. The sets color designs were featured around black with white trim and transparent neon green canopies and the minifigures were redesigned with new uniforms and logo.

Blacktron 2 consists of 14 sets that ran from 1991 to 1993. As of today, 6988 Alpha Centauri Outpost is the most valuable Blacktron 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,607.
