Blacktron 2, also known as Blacktron Future Generation was a followup Space subtheme to Blacktron and was released in 1991. Most of the sets were simply improved remake of the original Blacktron sets. The sets color designs were featured around black with white trim and transparent neon green canopies and the minifigures were redesigned with new uniforms and logo.
Blacktron 2 consists of 14 sets that ran from 1991 to 1993. As of today,
6988 Alpha Centauri Outpost is the most valuable Blacktron 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,090.
Summary
Space Blacktron 2 Grid Trekkor set 6812 was released in March 1991, retailing for $3, but has since been retired. New, unopened Grid Trekkor sets are valued at $103, while used sets can be found for $11 in good condition.
