“It does have the regular features of a Ninjago set and fun movable parts. It would be appealing to AFOLS who like weapons. I wish it had a Minifig of Kai in the original blacksmith clothes, as the battle took place before Kai became a ninja. It would not be my first choice... More for a Ninjago set, but it is a good addition to your collection.”

“This isn’t a bad set at all, but nothing about it really wows me beyond the absurd amount of weaponry included. Kai is a fine figure, but nothing new while Kruncha is downright weird. With some minor changes, the Blacksmith shop would fit in any medieval or feudal LEGO world... More and that’s nice. Toss in the impressive reveal feature and you’ve got a build that looks good but isn’t one you need to have.”

About Ninjago Pilot Season

These were the first of the Ninjago themed sets and based on the pilot episodes which were the first installments in the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu series. Through the LEGO sets, we are introduced to the four original ninja Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane, Nya, Sensei Wu, and Lord Garmadon. In a number of waves, sets depicted dragons, Skulkin vehicles, battlegrounds and spinners depicting the ninja in both their trainee and DX variants and their elemental powers which included Earth, Ice, Fire, and Lightning.

Pilot Season was introduced in 2011 and currently consists of 14 sets. As of today, 2507 Fire Temple is the most valuable Pilot Season set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,630.
