Insights

Released as a May the Fourth promotional minifigure in 2011, Shadow ARF Trooper carries unique ARF helmet, torso, and leg prints tied to the Clone Trooper collecting niche, and its short promo run and lack of remake has left sealed examples scarce and in steady demand, with condition-sensitive volatility.

Set Facts

The Shadow ARF Trooper polybag set includes a single minifigure with components for the legs, torso, head, helmet, and a blaster.
The design of the Shadow ARF Trooper minifigure features a black and sand-blue color scheme, contrasting the standard white Clone Trooper design.
This set was a promotional giveaway during the "May the Fourth" 2011 event with qualifying purchases on LEGO's online store. The stock on the sets were sold out very quickly.
On the bag, the lines on the trooper's helmet are shown dark blue, but the on the actual minifigure, the lines are a lighter sand blue color.

“While overall he is just an ARF trooper but in black, he really has that "cool factor" that a LEGO figure needs. And the fact that this guy is a black ARF trooper is just such a good idea on LEGO's part. The silver, blue, and white-ish color printing on the figure keeps him... More cool looking while keeping it within the looks of an ARF trooper. So, in all, I'm very happy with this figure, another great design by LEGO!”

“As a part of the LEGO Star Wars series, it holds a high collectability value, especially for Star Wars fans. This minifigure was only available through a promotional offer from the LEGO Store for Star Wars Day (May 4) in 2011. Its limited availability makes it a sought-after... More collectible item. The Shadow ARF Trooper features a distinctive black and grey color scheme, setting it apart from the regular ARF trooper minifigures.”
