“I grew up on Marvel Comics and I'm glad to see the characters in LEGO. I wasn't a fan of The Avengers but I found the movies quite entertaining. I really wish Marvel took care of The X-Men the way they did with The Avengers but I really can't complain.”

“If you are looking to get a LEGO Thor without buying the figure alone for $10 or paying upwards to $70 for one of the bigger sets just to get the God of Thunder himself. Then this is the best bet for you and the Cosmic Cube he comes with is a near plus although a little... More lacking in the detail department.”

About Marvel Super Heroes Avengers

Avengers gathers the LEGO Marvel sets built around the team rather than a single hero. It opened in 2012, timed to the first Avengers film, with the heroes facing Loki and his Chitauri invaders, and it has since borrowed from the comics too, setting Iron Man against Detroit Steel and Hulk against Red Hulk in 2017.

Avengers was introduced in 2012 and currently consists of 43 sets. As of today, 76166 Avengers Tower Battle is the most valuable Avengers set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $240.

It includes Thor with Mjolnir and a rock formation in which the Cosmic Cube (Tesseract) is held. There is a small TECHNIC axle inside which is connected to a lever holding the Cosmic Cube underneath. Another small liftarm is connected to the axle on the outside, so when it is pushed down (or slammed down by Thor wielding Mjolnir as the packaging suggests), The lever holding the Cosmic Cube is flipped up, knocking a section of the rock wall out of the way to reveal the Cube.
