“The set consists of a lawn mower, shovel, rake, wheelbarrow with flowers, and of course Hannah/Noortje. The lawn mower has rotating blades that move while "mowing" the grass. The set does not contain many other play functions. It is therefore a matter of having imagination... More to be able to play with it. Characteristic is that most LEGO parts contain the LEGO characteristic.”

About Fabuland

The Fabuland theme included sets that depicted the land of Fabuland and introduced Fabuland Figures, characters with human-like bodies with various animal heads. Fabuland was the first LEGO theme to introduce named characters that focused around a story and was the first LEGO theme to feature licensed products such as storybooks, playing cards, children’s clothing and animated TV series to enhance the playing experience through storytelling and role play. The FABULAND figures have heads of a mammal, a reptile or a bird sometimes topped by a peaked hat, and arms and legs with motion very similar to LEGO minifigures.
Summary
Fabuland Hannah Hippopotamus the Public Gardener set 3787 was released in June 1983, retailing for $6, but has since been retired. New, unopened Hannah Hippopotamus the Public Gardener sets are valued at $79, while used sets can be found for $16.

Stories to build FABULAND Sets for children from 3 years. A little society populated by friendly animal figures, who live in easy-to-build houses. The animal figures each have their own name and personality. They all have tools or equipment that indicate their personality and role in society, which makes playing even more fun. Big building elements make it easy for young children to make a setting for their FABULAND stories. The FABULAND figures are fun to collect. And are therefore sold separately to make collection easy.
