“Overall, it's one of the best sets Lego ever made. It looked very promising for the Avatar line and we have to be really sorry that the line was discontinued after only two sets, and that availability for these sets was so bad (only in one or two countries and only for a... More short period!). A missed opportunity - but at least we got this!”

“It consists of Zuko's Fire Nation Ship, which appeared in the Avatar: The Last Airbender TV series. It includes a prison cell, a catapult that launches red bricks, Zuko's ship tower and a small steam-powered riverboat, as well as five Minifigures: Aang, Katara, Zuko, a... More Firebender, and a Fire Nation Soldier.”

One of the best sets of the year — “The fire nation ship is a sight to behold. Sporting 722 pieces, this is a Lego set that has great features, a good selection (and amount) of parts, 5 truly excellent mini-figures. I have to say this set is WELL worth the price, and the parts, features, and mini-figures are a... More pleasure to have. I would recommend this set above many sets released this year, and for its price range, it would be foolish to buy something else.”

About Avatar The Last Airbender

Released in the summer 2006 the Avatar: The Last Airbender LEGO theme was based on the popular Nickelodeon TV show with the same name and based on Book One of Avatar. The theme's sets were only released in the United States and Canada and with only two sets makes it one of the smallest themes. The first sets in the theme where designed to test if the theme would be commercially viable and was pitted against the other Nickelodeon theme SpongeBob. Ultimately Avatar lost in popularity and was never continued. The discontinuation of the theme is partly due to the belief that Avatar: The Last Airbender would become obsolete, as only three seasons were planned.
