BrickEconomy Member Review
“This festive LEGO polybag features Santa in a well-designed sleigh with space for presents, a simple yet effective reindeer build, and a mysterious helper carrying a walkie-talkie. The Santa minifigure is a classic design, though it lacks the updated hat from the CMF series. Despite minor color mismatches in the reindeer, the set delivers a charming holiday scene with 77 pieces.”
Brickset
“This 77-piece set consists of Santa in his sleigh being pulled by a reindeer and some random guy with a walkie-talkie. The Santa minifig is the 'traditional' Santa who hasn't changed much since he first appeared in 1995. It would have been nice if he'd been wearing the new Santa hat from the CMF series 8 version, but I guess that's out of production in China now.”

About Seasonal Christmas

Christmas is the Seasonal subtheme for LEGO's holiday sets, and new ones come out every autumn. The earliest are small Santa builds from 1999. Many of the smaller sets are given free with purchases in November and December rather than sold, which is how 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute, a scene from A Christmas Carol, reached most people in 2020.

Christmas was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 120 sets. As of today, 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room is the most valuable Christmas set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $279.
Summary
Seasonal Christmas Santa's Sleigh set 40059 was released in November 2013, retailing for $8, but has since been retired. New, unopened Santa's Sleigh sets are valued at $19, while used sets can be found for $17 in good condition.
