LEGO 40196 Shell Tanker is a Racers Ferrari Shell V-Power set released in 2014, containing 95 pieces. “It's a substantial model for a polybag set, with 93-odd parts. There's a good level of detail on the chassis and around the back. A transparent 1x4 brick would probably have looked better for the cab window though. I do like the wheels: they are not new but they look just... More right here on this vehicle.”

“It's quite a good little truck. The only thing it lacks is a pull-back motor. Last time, LEGO did the cab of a Scuderia truck (which is only ever used for transporting stuff, not for racing), and they added a pullback motor just for kicks. How fun would a road-raging tanker... More truck have been? I jest; this is actually a good set.”

About Racers Ferrari Shell V-Power

The LEGO Ferrari Shell V-Power is a subtheme of LEGO Racers. Shell and Ferrari partnered up with the LEGO Group from 2012 to 2014 to bring a number or promotional sets that include miniature replica cars including a Shell Station and Finish Line. Initially the Shell V-Power Motorsport collection was introduced at gas stations around Hong Kong and Singapore, but later expanded to other countries.
