“If you want something to display on your mantle this winter. Or you just want to add to your Winter Village I think this set is a nice little addition. As far as I know you'll only be able to buy it from Lego.com or in brand stores. So there's no sense waiting for a sale. If... More you see it, pick it up!”

“Winter Snowball Fight (40424) is not my favorite set by a long shot. With that said, the kit comes at a good value, and contains a lot of Minifigure accessories. Even the brick-to-fig ratio is good. However, the Minifigures that you get are both children with unbending legs.... More I do not like those. Additionally, the set has too many small, undetailed builds. The set name is “snowball fight", so keep it a proper snowball fight.”

Christmas is the Seasonal subtheme for LEGO's holiday sets, and new ones come out every autumn. The earliest are small Santa builds from 1999. Christmas was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 120 sets. As of today, 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room is the most valuable Christmas set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $279.
