Insights

A small Friends Play Cube released in 2020, Olivia's Summer Play Cube shows mild post-retirement appreciation driven mainly by completionists of the Play Cube sub-line, and its wide original distribution plus limited uniqueness mean upside is constrained while demand is sensitive to ongoing Friends refreshes.

Brickset

“The play cube range is clearly LEGO’s latest attempt at targeting the portable or travel toy market, which currently includes toys such as Polly Pockets (despite what you may think, they are still very much in vogue, as I can attest to as the father of a young girl!) These... More have a very similar vibe, but are much more appealing to me due to the fact that they are LEGO.”
