“I absolutely love this model. The 9396 - Helicopter was one of my favorite models, but I like this one even better. The closed design is something I like a lot, as long as the model is packing some functions too. Panels alone don't cut it. Well, this set has some cool... More features under those panels. The mechanism for the contra-rotating rotors is pretty nifty. So are the bottom cargo bay doors.”

“Overall, I am very pleased with the 42052 helicopter. It looks great and packs a nice selection of functions. There is certainly room for improvement of the model (particular the tail functions and the electric control), but the model is very pleasant overall. This is a... More strong contender for the title of best Technic helicopter. Personally, I like it even better than the previous 9396 model.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.
