Power Boat Reviews
Is this LEGO set a good investment?
“For a Technic set, Power Boat has been significantly outperforming the theme with a expected annual return of 8.5%. Considering the average annual return for a majority of Technic sets is typically around 4%, this happens to be an investible set with good returns.”

“I do like the shape of the craft: the curved and wing panels have been put to good use, but really don't like the black. I can only guess it's black because it's cheap and parts in the colour are plentiful. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with it but compared to other... More Technic sets of this size it's unexciting. I suspect it will be an easy pass for most Technic fans.”

“A building experience that is pleasurable coupled with a dynamic colour scheme should equate to a set that is an exciting thing to own. Yet the finished model is something of a let down and those exposed wheels just look a tad ridiculous. This is by far the weakest set of... More this current wave.”

About Technic
TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.
