Monster Jam Max D Reviews
Eurobricks
“Monster Jam trucks are pretty detailed vehicles, and pulling them off in Technic, at this scale, is tough. When you factor in the pullback feature, the durability required, the budget for this set, I think Lego did about as good of a job as could be expected. It's certainly... More an interesting looking vehicle, and more cohesive than many of the nonsense pullback sets in the past.”
BrickFanatics
“42119 Monster Jam Max-D brings a great first experience of monster trucks from the Monster Jam series to LEGO Technic, at a scale that offers enough for younger and older fans alike. It also gets the creative juices flowing (particularly after watching the real-life monster... More trucks in action) as to what could be possible moving forward, if this was a line to be revisited or re-scaled.”
