LEGO 42245 Blue Helicopter is a rumored Technic set due in March 2027, with an expected retail price of $9.99. It is one of 7 rumored Technic sets for 2027.
Blue Helicopter is a rumored small LEGO Technic helicopter in blue and white with a compact, geared rotor setup. The model is expected to use a thumb-wheel that drives the main rotor and links to the tail rotor through simple Technic gearing. Early reports point to a pocket-money scale build, closer to a desk toy than something like the larger Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter. The color scheme leans hard into blue with white accents.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Small Technic aircraft at the entry end of the range usually deliver only modest gains after retirement, because broad availability and low barriers to entry tend to keep supply high. The geared main-and-tail-rotor function gives this model a clearer mechanical hook than many tiny Technic sets, but its outlook still looks more like a steady low-tier Technic item than a standout performer.
