Insights

An Insiders reward with a short redemption window, the Star Wars 25th Anniversary Coin (2024) was issued as a promotional collectible in display packaging and draws interest from brand-focused collectors, but historically Gear-category coins trade unevenly so long-term outcomes depend on anniversary demand rather than functional desirability.

Facts

The LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary coin features familiar Star Wars characters in minifigure form on one side and the 25th Anniversary logo on the reverse.
The coin comes packaged in a premium display box.
It was available to LEGO Insiders for redemption during the LEGO Star Wars Day Event from May 1 to May 5, 2024.

Brickset

“The 44mm diameter metal coin is printed in full color with an image that was used on marketing material when LEGO Star Wars first launched in 1999, showing yellow-headed Han, Leia and Luke on the left, and Vader, a Stormtrooper and Boba Fett on the right. It is very nicely... More printed, although I suspect it'll scratch easily if not handled with care.”

Brick Fanatics

“Costing 1,500 points, the coin depicts – in full color print – the original LEGO Star Wars logo that first appeared on box art and in promotional material from when the theme launched back in 1999. It’s an iconic piece of LEGO Star Wars art and is very expertly recreated in... More this unique way.”
