Insights

Released as a Friends magazine gift and now retired, Ice Cream Cart (561605) had a brief promotional run that created only modest scarcity, and absence of exclusive figures plus multiple similar Friends ice-cream carts has limited collector differentiation and capped upside.

Set Facts

The foil pack appeared in Friends Magazine 2016 Issue 5.

Collectors

Investors

“The cart is made from 23 pieces and the build instructions are printed inside the magazine, but surprisingly I found these to be a bit vague. Maybe I’m underestimating the ability of the Friends Magazine target market – i.e kids – or maybe I’m just too used to Lego... More outlining each step of a building process, but the build was a bit trickier than I’d have imagined from a kids magazine!”
