“I had a great time building the set - it brought back so many happy memories of my childhood. That said, I'm not sure that the Dino theme is the best LEGO set for adults...it's high on the playability factor however! As a kid, this would have been one of my favorite sets -... More I'm sure of that. I think the pieces are interesting enough that you could make a few other fun models just using the pieces from this set, something else that I always enjoyed doing as a youngster.”

“Overall, I found this set a great value. We get this super-cool new Raptor, two minifigures with great new prints, a tranquilizer gun, two lime green syringes, and a very play-with-it-rough truck. All for only $30! I really like the yellow/dark-red color scheme and the dark... More tan minifigure scheme. The various greens used on the dinosaur itself are perfect too; it looks very natural and pleasing to my eyes.”

LEGO Dino was a dinosaur based System theme released in 2012 with a total of 7 sets and was discontinued the same year. It features realistically designed dinosaur models. The underlying plot of the Dino theme was similar to Jurassic Park where humans encountered resurrected dinosaurs in their natural habitat.
