Brickipedia
“Among the minifigures are the forestmen leader, four of his men, with red and blue collars, and one desperately outnumbered soldier of the Crusaders. The base of the tower sits on arches that stand in the open water, technically allowing people to swim right through it. The... More tower itself is built between two trees and is largely hollow at the inside, containing just the jail in the basement and support structures for the platform.”

“This Forestmen building is one of the best the Forestmen have to offer. It's location on water, the ability to storage supplys and the way it acts as a hideout makes it just outstanding.”

“Forestmen's River Fortress was released in 1989. It is a rock and tree fortess surrounded by water. Special features of the set are the raft, ramp, portcullis, jail, and opening back wall. Five forestmen, one lion soldier, and various accessories are included. This is a good... More set, both for its design and for its pieces.”
