“The green works out perfectly. It makes a line of color and fits with the stickers. The yellow also works well. The entire shape is aesthetically pleasing, and the fact that it fits a minifigure without requiring that you remove a hat/hairpiece (like with 2010's Small Car),... More I'd say it's a good vehicle. The set has quite a few good parts. There is a green 1x4 tile, a 3x2 slope with "wheel hubs", a 3x4 yellow hinge plate (with 1x4 yellow hinge plate), 2 yellow doors, and a few other parts.”

“This is a straightforward review of a LEGO set from the City (or Town) theme, highlighting its simplicity and charm for its time. The Outback Racer features a yellow and green color scheme with stickers that are easy to apply. While the minifigure's design is simple, some might find the printed eyebrows a bit unsettling. The set is functional, with rolling wheels and minimal trunk space, though the minifigure's hands can obstruct the side doors slightly. Overall, it's a nostalgic look at a basic yet enjoyable LEGO set.”
