LEGO 6897 Rebel Hunter is a Space Police II set released in 1992, containing 140 pieces and 2 minifigures. It builds a patrol spaceship with a central modular jail cell transporting a Blacktron prisoner, with a Space Police officer at the controls. The cell sits in the center section and can be released by folding the surrounding frame outward, allowing it to be removed or dropped. When the cell is removed, the cockpit and aft section close together; the mechanism is similar to that in 6957 Solar Snooper. In the United Kingdom it was marketed as Space Police Prisoner Patrol, and it is the third-largest Space Police II set.

A new and sealed Rebel Hunter is currently valued at around $228, with annual growth of approximately 3%, which is lower than other Space Police 2 sets. About Space

Space Police 2 (or Space Police II) was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 1992 that followed the original Space Police subtheme. The story line was based on The Space Police II officers who protected M-Tron and Ice Planet 2002 from the Blacktron Future Generation and enforced laws established by the Galactic Council. They always protected the innocent in interplanetary disputes.

Space Police 2 consists of 8 sets that ran from 1992 to 1998. As of today, 6984 Galactic Mediator is the most valuable Space Police 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,017.
