LEGO 6984 Galactic Mediator is a Space/Space Police II set released in 1992, containing 406 pieces and 3 minifigures. The set builds a large Space Police cruiser with a double cockpit, multiple rear thrusters, and trans-green canopy elements. Its modular layout includes detachable sections with two removable jail cells and a small deployable rover. The minifigures comprise a Space Police chief, a Space Police officer, and a Blacktron II prisoner, and the set was also marketed in some regions as Space Police Commander; it was the largest set in the Space Police II subtheme.

About Space

Space Police 2 (or Space Police II) was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 1992 that followed the original Space Police subtheme. The story line was based on The Space Police II officers who protected M-Tron and Ice Planet 2002 from the Blacktron Future Generation and enforced laws established by the Galactic Council. They always protected the innocent in interplanetary disputes.

Space Police 2 consists of 8 sets that ran from 1992 to 1998. As of today, 6984 Galactic Mediator is the most valuable Space Police 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,017.
