Brickset
“This Viking set is when finished a Castle orientated result although the built is mostly influenced by Technic and Bionicle. So in fact Lego succeeded with the Viking theme and particularly this set to capture 3 building techniques in one. The result is a good looking Dragon... More and sufficiently working Catapult with 3 good looking Viking warriors. Definitely a recommendable set over all and for those who want to experience all building techniques Lego offers.”

BrickEconomy Expert Review
“The dragon's design, with its striking blue and silver colors accentuated by yellow on the wings, is quite appealing, though I wish its neck offered more flexibility in posing. The tail, adorned with smaller wings, enhances its overall aesthetic. It's intriguing that the dragon is designed with a seat and chains, suggesting a narrative where Vikings might be riding rather than battling the creature, hinting at an attempt to tame it.”

About Vikings

The LEGO Vikings theme is based on the ancient Scandinavian warriors known as Vikings. Released in 2005 and later discontinued in 2007, Vikings featured seven sets in total. Each set in the theme was based around a storyline that featured warriors battling creatures, typically based on Norse mythology. These creatures were constructed in a BIONICLE-like style that contrasted with the minifigure Vikings that battled them.
