Gold Getaway Reviews
Eurobricks
“Overall, this is a decent set. The build is nothing very interesting and there isn't much in the way of interesting parts, but the figures are good, the price/piece ratio is excellent, and the final build, at least of the wagon, is solid.”
Eurobricks
“It's a good set with ample playability and detailed figures. The play features and overall design seem well thought out. I would recommend this set to castle builders.”
The Brothers Brick
“All in all, this set is very underwhelming. It's just one example of many from this wave of Castle sets that shows that the general increase in the quality of construction we've seen in most sets for the last 6 years or so isn't immune to hiccups. Compared to the preceding... More Kingdoms line, this wave of sets is a profound disappointment.”
Brickipedia
“The set includes a Dragon Soldier prison carriage drawn by a horse. This set also includes a large crossbow with flick-fire missiles, a treasure chest filled with gold and jewels, and an arch terrain piece for the King's Knight. Included with this set are 3 figures: two... More King's Knights, one wielding a sword and shield, while the other is wielding an halberd, and one Dragon Soldier wielding an axe. This set also includes a frog.”
