Set Value (New/Sealed)

This chart represents the current new/sealed value of the set Evil Mech since November 2022. Very high accuracy
LEGO 71002-4 Evil Mech is an 8 piece minifigure released in 2013 as part of Collectible Minifigures Series 11. It depicts a robotic soldier styled after classic LEGO Space villain factions, drawing visual inspiration from the Blacktron subtheme through its black and neon trans-green color scheme. The figure includes a raygun accessory and features printed mechanical details across the torso, legs, and helmet. While its visual design echoes the original Blacktron aesthetic, its character bio connects it to the later Blacktron Future Generation storyline, blending references to both eras within a single minifigure.

A new and sealed Evil Mech is currently valued at around $13. The average used price is $8 for those in good overall condition. New and sealed listings currently range from $11 to $13. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $13 within the next year.

“The Evil Mech has the Battle Mech's Mini Mech Armor and Mini Mech Helmet pieces, but recolored in black and silver. It has black legs, arms, and torso; dark stone grey hands and hips; and a bright yellowish green head. Its arms, hip, and legs feature lime green armor... More printing. Its torso features printing resembling a mechanized version of the Blacktron Astronaut spacesuit, with the yellow triangular Blacktron logo printed on its armor.”

“To blast his foes to oblivion, I like that Lego continued this walk down memory lane with a “megaphone" gun. Remember kids, before we had fancy custom rifles and laser guns, all we had were megaphones that you attached a cone-brick to and call it a laser gun. Excellent... More choice by the designers to go down this route especially with the trans-green piece, which will remind any long time Lego-fan of their childhood messing around with space-themed sets.”

“Kzzt! Mission accomplished.”

Built with antimatter microcircuits etched in the heart of a black hole and programmed by the top cyber-slicer of the sinister Blacktron space raiders, the Evil Mech is a dangerous force for interplanetary crime and chaos.

A cutting-edge nano-coating lets this robotic menace slip through force fields and scanner nets undetected, allowing it to steal, spy, or sabotage as its mission commands. The good news is that the Evil Mech is one of a kind…but if its design is ever duplicated, it could lead the way to a fearsome future generation that would make the galaxies tremble.
