Jays Brick Blog
“I quite like the Fencer as he's a character that would normally not show up in regular sets so I'm quite glad that LEGO have used the Collectible Minifigure Series to give a really recognizable athlete a home. You're almost obligated to get two Fencers so that he has a... More sparring partner.”

The Brick Fan
“LEGO keeps on surprising us and bringing new things to the minifigures line and this time, we get the Fencer. He does look a little bland with his white jacket but there is some printing to give him a not-so-boring look. Note that one of his hands is wearing a white glove as... More well. He has a confident smirking expression but you can’t really see it with his mask covering his head. From the looks of his rapier, he looks to be practicing either foil or épée fencing. This weapon has been used before in previous LEGO Collectible Minifigure series.”

I know exactly how to end this disagreement! In the Fencers opinion, all disputes can and should be settled with a friendly fencing match. Cant decide on a restaurant for lunch? Having trouble agreeing on which movie to see? Just strap on your padded suit, don your safety mask and raise your fencing foil, and the outcome will soon be determined! So you say youre not a trained fencer? Well, thats hardly the Fencers problem, is it? If youre not going to learn the rules of the sport and carry around some basic equipment, then you probably dont deserve to get your way anyway. This is why nobody likes to hang out with the Fencer.
