“Of all the characters found in the Character Packs, this is the only one which you can find in one of the expansion sets. You can one the exact same Bob-omb build in the Guarded Fortress set. It’s a fun take on the character and it’s nice to be able to get it in a much... More cheaper way compared to the expansion set, it just would have been nice to have a completely unique character.”

“After scanning Bob-omb for the first time, a timer is started. The second and subsequent scans will yield one coin and if you're still scanning when the timer ends (5 seconds or so) Mario is stunned. Other commentators have suggested that coins are lost in this scenario but... More that hasn't been the case when I've tried. I think the timer is stopped after a certain number of scans.”

About Super Mario Character Pack Series 1

This is the first series of Character Packs. A random figure is included in each pack. Figures include Blooper, Bob-omb, Bullet Bill, Buzzy Beetle, Eep Cheep, Fuzzy, Paragoomba, Peepa, Spiny, and Urchin. These characters are designed to be used with a Starter Course set, which is required for interactive play.

Character Pack Series 1 was introduced in 2020 and currently consists of 13 sets. As of today, Character Pack Series 1 Sealed Box is the most valuable Character Pack Series 1 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $225.
