Bricksfanz
“The Crowber is a fairly modern addition to the Mario universe. In the games, they swoop and chase after Mario, with flocks of them appearing more frequently as you progress through a level. It’s the first of the buildable characters to appear on a sky-themed display plate.”

Brickset
“71388 Boss Sumo Bro Topple contains a Crowber and its repetition here is therefore slightly disappointing. Additionally, the design appears quite basic, although increasing its complexity may contradict the established LEGO Super Mario aesthetic. On that basis, this bird... More achieves suitable accuracy and I appreciate the sky biome base. Once again, vanquishing the Crowber earns one coin.”
