About Ninjago Dragons Rising

LEGO Ninjago, also known as Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, theme was introduced in 2011 and included sets that are based off of original storylines, a TV series and The LEGO Ninjago Movie, a movie based on the theme. The main premise of the Ninjago universe is based around six teenage Ninja, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Nya, and Lloyd, who have been trained by their master Sensei Wu, fighting forces of evil to protect the land of Ninjago.
Dragons Rising curently consists of 15 sets, all released this year.

Ninja fans aged 9+ can recreate an epic showdown from the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV series with Elemental Dragon vs. The Empress Mech (71796). The building set features fearsome dragon Jiro, who can be upgraded by adding golden blade wings and stud shooters from a flyer vehicle to take on the Empress’s posable golden mech, who is wielding a large sword.
The impressive playset includes 6 minifigures. Jay, Sora and Zane each come with 2 golden katanas to defeat the trio of Lord Ras with his hammer, Empress Beatrix with her Imperium sword and an Imperium Guard with a staff. There’s also a yellow dragon power element for the characters to battle over, and kids can collect 4 more in different colors and 4 golden dragon energy core elements in other NINJAGO sets.
