LEGO 72162 Eevee and Lapras's Treasure Hunt is a Pokémon SMART Play set released in 2026, containing 623 pieces. The build centers on a large Lapras with four movable flippers and Eevee riding a small raft. Eevee has posable ears and a tail, adding detail to the character. A shipwreck sits nearby, where lowering the mast lifts a rock to reveal a chest full of coins and gems. Eevee, Lapras, and the treasure box each have a SMART Tag that interacts with SMART Bricks from All-In-One Sets to trigger sounds and lights. These interactions include a melody playing when a Pokémon carries the treasure and specific sounds for finding or celebrating the coins.

Once retired, the expected annual growth will be close to 6% after the second year, valuing the set between $69 and $73 shortly after it is retired.

About Pokémon SMART Play

SMART Play is LEGO's system of SMART Bricks that react with lights and sound to SMART Tags built into models and figures. The Pokémon sets for it arrived in August 2026. Only the All-In-One sets carry the electronics, such as 72164 Training House with Pikachu, which comes with a SMART Brick, a charger and four SMART Tags. The other sets, such as 72159 Jigglypuff Concert, have tags only and need a SMART Brick from an All-In-One set. A single tag tile, 4000703 SMART Sitrus Berry Tag, was a reward at LEGO Stores.

SMART Play curently consists of 16 sets, all released this year.
