“I never understood why Mission to Mars sold as poorly as it did, they had some wonderful sets, and in my opinion they are better than most of the new Mars Mission sets. The aliens are so much better, and they use the same tubes. The sets are mechs which are better than half... More of the Exo-force mechs.”

New pieces include the Martian canopy, a gray one of those yellow vents from Anakin's pod, and a dark gray piece with a 4x4 round base and a 2x2 round... More top. All in all, this is a good, fun set with an interesting design.”

About Space Life On Mars

Life on Mars was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 2001 that consisted of 21 sets and depicted a peaceful coexistence between humans and aliens on the planet Mars. The human astronauts were peaceful Mars explorers with a small assortment of vehicles featuring little-to-no weaponry. The native Martians on Mars possessed a variety of vehicles, some heavily armed, though none were used aggressively against the human explorers.

Life On Mars was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 23 sets. As of today, 7317 Aero Tube Hanger is the most valuable Life On Mars set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $492.
