Eurobricks
“This is a very nice set. The minigures are all excellent, apart from the Gamorrean Guard which others have mentioned before. The part count is on the low side for a set of this RRP, but the cost of developing the Rancor must have been significant. It's fun to build and looks... More really good when merged with Jabba's Palace.”

Brickipedia
“The set is a square chamber with one large gate for the rancor to emerge from. The colours on the wall are a mix of tan and grey. It connects to 9516 Jabba's Palace, where the trap door function in the set can drop a minifigure into the chamber. There is also a side room for... More Malakili, with a rake, key, chain, and bucket.”
