“With its gleaming black uniform, the action figure really does mimic what kids will see from the Death Troopers on the big screen. Kids will like building their very own action figure that actually moves for lots of play. The poseability, functioning blaster, and detailed... More pieces will really make this an action figure that will inspire lots of imaginative play, whether kids are recreating scenes from the movie or making up their own Star Wars stories. But all of those things will also make this action figure really cool for older fans and collectors, too.”

“Overall, this is a good set. I think it's my fourth favorite Star Wars CCBS figure, after 75112 General Grievous, 75111 Darth Vader, and 75109 Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

“The Death Trooper is an interesting set... if you stop at the waist. The legs are too long, poorly articulated (compared to the previous sets), and have been seen on many others sets before (new leg shell aside, of course). The helmet is splendid, and the character is very... More well armed, but in the end, the set seems bland. Its main flaw, I think, is that it belongs to the third wave of Star Wars constraction sets, and thus hardly brings novelty after the twelve sets based on the other movies released previously.”

About Star Wars Buildable Figures

The LEGO Star Wars Buildable Characters theme, referred to as Constraction figures, consists of poseable action-figure-like models built using ball-joint and technic components, reminiscent of LEGO Bionicle or Hero Factory sets. Different from traditional brick-built LEGO Star Wars sets, this line showcases prominent characters from the Star Wars universe, like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, in a larger, more articulated format. These figures often come with interactive features such as spring-loaded shooters or lightsaber actions, offering both a distinct building experience and play functionality.

Buildable Figures consists of 29 sets that ran from 2015 to 2018. As of today, 75112 General Grievous is the most valuable Buildable Figures set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $220.
