The Brothers Brick
“My final recommendation for this set is going to be essentially the same as it was for the previous X-wing: Not really worth the price, except on sale. I also think the lack of the only interesting potential play feature (the retracting belly gun) was a really cool... More opportunity the designers missed.”

BrickFanatics
“The evolution of the LEGO versions of this starfighter have been gradual, so I am guessing folks who have one of the last few renditions would not find this one quite the revelation I did (I understand that 75102 Poe's X-wing Fighter is an almost identical build). That said,... More if you have one of the older X-wings and are ready for a new one, then this set is a great upgrade that I highly recommend.”

About Star Wars The Force Awakens

The Force Awakens holds the sets from the 2015 film that started the sequel trilogy. They were released worldwide on Force Friday, 4 September 2015, months before the film, and gave buyers a first look at Rey's speeder, Poe's X-wing, Kylo Ren's command shuttle and the stormtroopers of the First Order. Some sets were held back until after the release so they would not give away the story, and Starkiller Base and the Rathtar escape came the following years.

The Force Awakens consists of 27 sets that ran from 2015 to 2021. As of today, 75103 First Order Transporter is the most valuable The Force Awakens set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $227.
Summary
Star Wars The Force Awakens Resistance X-wing Fighter set 75149 was released in June 2016, retailing for $80, but has since been retired. New, unopened Resistance X-wing Fighter sets are valued at $130, while used sets can be found for $67.
