“The basic design looks to be fairly similar to recent X-Wing models, utilizing the newer style of mechanism for the S-foils – it is more sophisticated than the SMART Play 75423 Luke’s Red Five X-wing though. “This is the third minifigure-scale X-wing I’ve built (the 2012 model is also in my collection somewhere), and it’s comfortably my favourite. It’s generic enough to slot in to any Rebel Alliance roster, while the inclusion of Carson Teva gives a nice ‘if you know, you know’ nod to fans of the Mandalorian series. I will give my customary advice to see if you can get it with a small discount to negate the Star Wars tax. But even at full RRP, it’s not a bad deal.”
