“The Imperial Landing Craft has a square-shaped main body that, at either side, can open up to deploy the stormtroopers it carries. There is a large, vertical stabilizing wing protruding from the center of the craft and two adjustable wings on either side that can move up and... More down simultaneously at the turn of a dial. These wings have full mobility, able to be move into a vertical position matching the "dorsal" wing.”

“This is a great set that I am truly happy I own. It was at one point the best way to get storm troopers, and builds a ship that you could easily buy duplicates of and make a fleet of Imperial Landing Crafts. The parts per dollar are fair in my opinion and the minifig count... More is spot on, as well as good minifigs no less. It's easy to play with, easy to display and has options for the way it looks.”

“This set is a gamble on the part of Lego: that kids & collectors would buy a set based on the obscure, hard-to-see, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo it makes in the Special-Edition version of Episode IV. It’s a bit squatter, but it fits the general shapes, functions, and... More appearance of the Sentinel-class assault shuttle.”

About Star Wars Episode IV

Episode IV covers A New Hope, the first Star Wars film from 1977, and it goes back to the first LEGO Star Wars sets of 1999, among them Luke's X-wing and landspeeder. Luke, Han and Leia had the classic yellow LEGO faces until 2004, when LEGO switched the figures of its licensed themes to flesh tones to look more like the actors.

Episode IV was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 53 sets. As of today, NY Comic-Con 2012 Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder is the most valuable Episode IV set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,009.
