“Night Blazer is a wind-up car turned Lego set. Built around a blocky engine, it is easy to assemble, very sturdy (apart from the fins at the back which tend to snap off) and has a "crash" gimmick that's entertaining for two or three minutes.”

A unique feature is its 'crash' gimmick where two pieces detach upon impact but are simple to reattach, adding a bit of fun to the experience. However, its playability is somewhat restricted to straightforward motions and collisions.”

The LEGO Power Racers subtheme of LEGO Racers was introduced in 2005 and focused on TECHNIC and System vehicles with various functions such as pull-back motors, falling apart on impact, or slammers which propelled it forward. Power Racers was discontinued in 2010 and consisted of 35 sets in total.
