“Being the biggest Technic set of the year, they did a good job. But a few minor problems like the crane not being able to rotate 360 degree when folded, bothered me. Then again, maybe the real rig you could only compact it and not rotate it to save space.”

“The Crane Truck is a great model from the Lego Technic series. It has many parts, a bunch of functions and detailed appearance that guarantee lots of fun. The lorry, with its overall length of 53 cm, belongs to the biggest Technic models ever. There are a few things,... More however, which I didn’t like; firstly, the lorry’s rear axes lack twin tyres; secondly, the jib and the crane itself have to be operated manually; thirdly, the outriggers have to be locked by hand. Therefore, it gets only five stars in the overall rating.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984.
