“For nostalgia's sake or the sake of a fun interactive racetrack, I recommend this set. The finished build is easily about four feet long and two feet wide. Only two chassis are included, so the car bodies can be swapped out and the racers mixed and matched.”

About Racers Drome Racers

The LEGO Drome Racers is a subtheme of LEGO Racers that ran from 2002 until it was discontinued in 2004. In addition the the LEGO set theme, a video came also called Drome Racers was released. The Drome Racers comprised of six teams, H.O.T., R.E.D., Nitro, Zero, Exo Force and Maverick. From LEGO's officla description: "146 km in diameter, with over 540 km of roads and seating for nearly 4 million spectators, the Drome is one of the largest man-made structures in the world and certainly the most amazing racing arena in human history."

Drome Racers consists of 53 sets that ran from 2002 to 2004. As of today, 8366 Supersonic RC is the most valuable Drome Racers set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $565.

But watch out, if your car starts to run out of energy, you'll have to pull into the pits and recharge. It takes speed, skill and strategy to win on this track. Power slide around corners, then shift lanes and head into the pit. Build the track how you like and add jumps and other challenges along the way.
