The build quality is excellent, making it durable for regular backyard use, though the build time is quick and there aren't many pieces. The motor and gearbox are the most impressive parts.”

“The set's electronics consist of two large preassemblies with specialized "superaxles," making it less compatible with standard Technic parts. While it may be disappointing for those expecting a typical LEGO product, it's better viewed as an upper-toy-grade RC buggy with a high-quality Lithium-ion Polymer battery, though a true Technic automobile with better performance and water-resistant features would be preferable.”
 

About Racers Outdoor RC

LEGO Outdoor RC was a subtheme of Racers that consisted of four sets, the first set introduced in 2004 and the remainder sates were available in 2006. The theme contained RC LEGO cars that could be controlled by a wireless radio remote control unit. While the vehicles were compatible with TECHNIC, most of the pieces were proprietary to the specific models including the sets wheels.

Outdoor RC consists of 4 sets that ran from 2004 to 2006. As of today, 8369-2 Dirt Crusher RC is the most valuable Outdoor RC set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,040.
