LEGO 8465 Extreme Off-Roader is a Technic set released in 2001, containing 365 pieces. The model is based on an Icelandic formula off-roader and uses then-new 4x6 frames to create a rigid chassis. More there are not many features for a model of this size. The model does feature wonderful suspension and steering, but the most striking aspect is the new painted metallic green color and silver ribbed hoses. The only parts using the metallic green are curved panels.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984.
